CFO Classroom Course
The CFO course is a one and a half day classroom course. It is held twice per year at various sites around the country. Participation is limited to twelve CFOs or chief business officers.
The focus of the CFO course is development of sustainable change in how risk management is positioned throughout the institution, with a focus on two broad areas:
- What the President, Cabinet and Board need to know about strategic risk management - activities, exposures and trends
- What staff and department heads need to know and report to the CFO on a regular basis, with a focus on key performance indicators
